Cheryl La Rocque
I have been a health writer and health columnist for over 19 years. I have enjoyed every moment informing readers on the latest in health and wellness information and issues, health research, clinical studies as well as clarifying medical controversies that can leave a reader confused and/or dispelling anecdotal and misleading health information on the world wide web.
It's not easy for readers to be able to recognize misleading health and wellness information. This is why readers need to be diligent and be sure to bookmark trusted health and wellness web sites.
My column "Health: Your Choice" was published three times a week in the Cape Breton Post, Sydney, Nova Scotia, Canada for approximately six years where it was very well received, and, was ranked third out of ten in popularity in a readership survey conducted by Omnifacts in March 1994. "Health: Your Choice" column was polled in other readership surveys in Atlantic Canada and deemed "Well Read".
My name is included in the following: Who's Who's of Canadian Women, 1997 edition; The World Who's Who of Women 1997 edition; and, International Authors and Writers Who's Who - Sixteenth Edition, (May/June 1999).
I present accurate and informative health and wellness information in a reader friendly format.
